A paper by Daniel Lövgren (Uppsala University), entitled "Diversity in the University: Translations and Use of Social Media", has been accepted for presentation at the ECREA-Conference in Lisboa, November 12-15.

A paper written by Mohamed El Mekawy, Lazar Rusu, Erik Perjons, Karl-Johan Sedvall and Murat Ekici (Dept. of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV), Stockholm University), entitled: "From Theory to Practice: Barriers to Business-IT Alignment in Organizations Acting in Sweden" has been accepted for publication in the Proceedings of the 48th Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-48)

A research proposal by Marius Mihailescu (LU), titled "The Generative Mechanisms of Healthcare Digitalization", has been accepted at the ICIS 2014 Doctoral Consortium. The ISIS' Doctoral Consortium provides students who are doing their doctoral dissertations with the chance to present and obtain comments on their research and to hear about the work of their peers at other universities. Selection to the Consortium is very competitive, this year participation is restricted to 40 PhD students. The ICIS 2014 Doctoral Consortium will be hosted by The University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand.
